Charlie Rudd is CEO of Publicis Groupe UK's creative practice, overseeing agencies including Leo UK, Publicis London, Saatchi & Saatchi and Turner Duckworth. Rudd has spent his career in the advertising industry and is one of its longest-serving leaders. He joined Publicis Groupe in 2019 as CEO of then Leo Burnett, where he made it the agency's mission to deliver populist creative work that helps clients grow their brands and businesses, securing a raft of new clients and consecutive Campaign Agency of the Year awards in the process. His remit to look after the wider creative practice, was extended last year. Rudd has a history of turning business fortunes around. He rose through the ranks to become MD (2008) and then COO (2014) at a time when the agency also won multiple Campaign Agency of the Year accolades and was a The Sunday Times Best Company to work for five years in a row. In over three decades in advertising, Rudd has worked with some of the world's most recognised brands including McDonald's, Audi, Barclays, Unilever, Vodafone and British Airways. In 2024, Rudd was made an IPA Fellow and in 2026 he was appointed Vice President of the Advertising Association.
